Dave Loeff called himself several things before calling himself a writer. He worked in sewn goods manufacturing and importing before switching gears and studying graphic design. Freelancing for a time, Dave concluded he was undercapitalized and understaffed. Dave then worked in community mental health for eight years. An interest in computer graphics resulted in a second college degree. Dave next became involved with database design, technical writing and technical support. Dave shares lessons from seven years providing support in an art school in "Graphics Essentials for Small Offices".
